Dr De-Allen counts among her patients many competitive shooters. She understands the needs of shooters and others whose requirements differ from the usual  standards for reading and driving. As part of her training, Dr. De-Allen worked in the Naval Hospital at Cherry Point, in Havelock, NC, where she provided eye care for pilots and shooters with particular needs. During her 25 years practicing in North Carolina, she has helped many shooters, including state and national champions.

Family Eye Care is equipped with indoor 25 foot NRA targets and outdoor 25 yard NRA targets. Shooters can try new lenses in a realistic environment, during the exam.
